About the Role

As a Principal, Web3 (DAO Governance & Management), you will be responsible for overseeing the development and lifecycle of our Web3 services, managing the vision, strategy, and roadmap, and for working closely with cross-functional teams to grow the business line. This role will build strategic partnerships with our existing clients, as well as establishing new client relationships for growing the Web3 portfolio. Your leadership of the Web3 DAO Governance Managers and interactions with the Principal, Web3 (Finance) will be key for our success. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and strong grasp of the Web3 Community. This is an ideal opportunity for someone that has an active interest in DAO Governance and Management.

You will also develop strategy for Web3 service development by identifying trends in the industry and developing solutions for client needs, support the design of scalable organisational structures, drive process improvements, develop data-driven insights and decision making, and lead high impact cross-functional projects. Ultimately, you are curious, humble, and analytically and growth minded with a bias toward action and impact.

Your Day-To-Day Will Involve

  • Study the market for latest changes and trends and generate comprehensive and easy-to-understand executive reports
  • Analyse, track, and improve metrics and KPIs and run practical A/B testing where needed
  • Design and execute plans to attract, maintain and engage both crypto and mainstream players across all social media channels and through planned email marketing campaigns
  • Plan and execute strategies to expand the community exponentially by reaching out to yet unexplored communities of NFT and crypto spaces
  • Lead and execute social media marketing activities, including copywriting and content creation, with an implemented content calendar for all social media channels such as Twitter, Telegram, Discourse, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, etc.
  • Design and execute comprehensive and project-specific marketing plans for any noteworthy events
  • Build and manage external relationships with crypto and NFT media, press, journalists, agencies, and influencers
  • Work closely with community project managers and moderators
  • Write detailed communication strategies
  • Project manage multiple communication strategies across our client base as well as our own communication plans

About You

  • Strategic leadership and planning
    • Set strategy with short, medium, and long-term goals for business development of Web3, the operational functions and team
    • Monitor, prepare, and report to senior executives on a regular basis on operational goals and key performance indicators
    • Plan, set, and manage resources through directly responsible individuals in Web3, DAO Governance, and integrate with Web3, Finance to ensure effective activity, operations, and allocations, across clients and engagements, to ensure exceptional service levels and the highest of quality work
  • Operational oversight and knowledge transfer management
    • Lead day-to-day problem solving and operational requirements, and make execution decisions for client engagements
    • Consult senior executives for decisions that require substantial resources, capital, or time, or is irreversible, or is reversible but with significant consequences
    • Review all external documents, proposals, and materials to confirm accuracy and adherence to company brand guidelines and distribute proactively, as needed, in a professional form and manner
    • Manage and take accountability that policies, processes, frameworks, and procedures with each and every Web3 client engagement are developed, written, documented, and understood by team members
  • Business development and client relationship management
    • Seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our services to existing clients, as well as identifying new clients for prospecting and growing the sales pipeline
    • Build and maintain long lasting business relationships with current and prospective clients by providing high quality deliverables and experiences according to their needs and concerns
    • Stay current with financial technology industry market news and trends, and write relevant publications on industry best practices
    • Conduct research and analysis to understand customer needs and preferences, and to identify opportunities and challenges in the market
    • Gathering and prioritising customer requirements, and defining the Web3 services functional and non-functional specifications
    • Monitoring our performance in the market, and gathering feedback from customers, stakeholders, and the cross-functional team to identify areas for improvement and innovation
  • Recruitment, onboarding, and team culture
    • Identify and implement training needs for team members, be an effective mentor and advisor, and take ownership in developing the growth path for team members
    • Identify resource requirements or gaps, identify suitable candidates, and lead recruitment process to fulfil needs in the operational area
    • Manage onboarding of new hires and set 30/60/90-day onboarding plans
    • Inspire and reinforce company culture, work ethic, and values
  • Lead special projects and carry out any other duties which may be required from time to time

About You

  • 8–10 years multidisciplinary business experience in a combination of operations, technology, client services, consulting
  • Solid understanding of DAO Operations and Governance and a passion for the potential of DAOs
  • Expertise in defining and stating expectations and objectives with a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be organised and nimble enough to work multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, with previous experience managing multiple service lines and client portfolios
  • Ability to expertly manage, model, analyse, and manipulate data using software such as Excel, Word or PowerPoint; highly advanced in utilising reporting tools, analysing data, and developing executive summaries and presentations
